A New Collection
Back in my hometown Stockholm visting Nationalmuseum, Sweden’s largest museum for Art and Design, (established in 1866) – newly re-opened after five years of extensive renovation and modernization. The institution commissioned five Swedish designers to work with local manufacturers to furnish the new interior spaces, as part of its initiative to promote Nordic design, called NM& – En Ny Samling/A New Collection.
